The latest twist on the Press-Side 3000 features an enclosure extending off from the main module of the Press-Side 3000 which is filled with moisture controlled air. Inside the enclosure is an actuator that removes the door and fixture from the vacuum chamber and spins 180 degrees to locate a second door onto the vacuum chamber. The coating fixtures are presented through an opening in the enclosure to the coating technician for loading and unloading purposes. This newly designed addition to the Press-Side 3000 will reduce cycle time and is an ergonomically sound improvement to cell manufacturing concepts.
